We intend to place on this page (if humanly possible) a letter that you can send to the legislators in your state if your state does not have puppy lemon laws or you want them to shut down the practice of puppy mills altogether.

California is currently considering legislation to require spaying and neutering of all dogs. Of course there are opponents, wouldn't that make the cost of a purebred much higher if the only people who an breed dogs have to have expensive licenses? That's a cost that will be passed on to you. But aggressive puppy lemon laws are for the consumer. YOU! You, you you!

I've been meaning to add this link FOREVER but keep forgetting. Did you know there are A LOT of Petland Franchise Owners who are suiing Petland Corp for sending them sick animals, failing to reimburse them for veterinary fees and a host of other issues? Well, there are and those lawsuits are also accessible from that link. Also, I encourage EVERYBODY to read Adam Fumarola's paper which is at the top of the list. It's hard to believe this was written over ten years considering it's ever-emerging timeliness and relevance.
